What We Collect

YoMamma Nutrition Tracker collects only the information you provide:

Username and email address (for account creation)
Password (stored as a one-way bcrypt hash — never readable by anyone)
Food log entries and daily macro totals you choose to enter
Optional: body weight and water intake for personal tracking
Optional: lab values (cholesterol, glucose, uric acid, etc.) you self-report
Account activity timestamps (registration date, last login)

Health & Dietary Data

This app collects dietary information and optionally certain lab values you self-report:

Your data is visible only to you and the app administrator
It is never sold, licensed, or disclosed to any third party
It is never used for advertising, profiling, or research without your explicit consent
It is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an access-restricted database

The pattern scores in this app are derived from your self-reported dietary intake against general nutritional guidelines. They are not medical measurements and do not represent clinical results.

What We Don't Collect

Payment information (no payment processing)
Location data or device identifiers
Cross-site tracking or advertising data
Any data from third-party sources

Not a Medical Service

YoMamma Nutrition Tracker is a personal nutrition tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Pattern scores are informational only and are based on general dietary guidelines and your self-reported data. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for health decisions.

Data Storage & Security

Data is stored in a MySQL database on our hosting server. All connections use HTTPS. Passwords use bcrypt hashing. Database access is restricted. We take reasonable technical precautions to protect your data, though no internet transmission is 100% secure.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. Contact the administrator to request deletion of your account and all associated data — food logs, scores, weight entries, lab results, and profile information.

Cookies & Sessions

A single session cookie keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. No third-party cookies, analytics, or tracking services are used.

HIPAA

YoMamma Nutrition Tracker is not a covered entity under HIPAA and does not operate as a healthcare provider. Data you enter is self-reported personal wellness data, not protected health information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA. You use this service voluntarily for personal tracking.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
